Rochester is one of New York State’s best-kept secrets. Nestled between Lake Ontario to the north and the Finger Lakes to the south, Rochester is set amid rolling hills, rivers and streams, orchards, vineyards, and lush farmland. In the city itself, visitors can enjoy the beauty of High Falls and Rochester’s numerous parks.

The city of Rochester is alive with a variety of cultural and educational activities. It is home to the Eastman School of Music and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Rochester also houses several museums, including the Strong National Museum of Play and the Rochester Museum and Science Center.

Rochester’s nightlife also offers something for everyone. If you want to relax in a cozy coffee house, Rochester has a number of them, including Spot Coffee and Javas. If you prefer the bar scene, Rochester offers everything from traditional British Pubs to upscale dance clubs. There are also concerts and musical events in Rochester’s variety of musical venues.
